As a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, I achieved academic excellence and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007, ranking in the top 18% of my class. Prior to pursuing law, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from Florida International University in my hometown of Miami, Florida. This diverse educational background has provided me with a strong foundation for my legal career.
Being born and raised in Miami, I am proud to call myself a trilingual individual. I am fluent in Spanish and have conversational proficiency in Portuguese. These language skills have proven invaluable in communicating with a wide range of clients and enhancing my ability to serve their legal needs effectively.
My practice encompasses various areas of civil litigation, and I have gained substantial experience in multiple fields. I handle business and commercial litigation, defamation litigation, tort litigation, and also specialize in construction litigation. Additionally, I have dedicated over 11 years of my career to family law, focusing on divorce and child custody litigation.
I've had the privilege of running my own practice in Miami, Florida at the Law Offices of Carlos M. Cabral. During this time, I developed a strong reputation for my expertise in divorce and business litigation, advocating passionately for my clients and striving to achieve favorable outcomes.
Beyond the legal realm, I have a great passion for the outdoors. When I'm not practicing law, you can often find me exploring the beauty of nature. I am an avid outdoorsman, spending my free time hunting during the appropriate seasons and embarking on invigorating hikes. Archery and recreational target shooting, including IDPA and competitive target pistol shooting, are also activities that I thoroughly enjoy and find both challenging and rewarding.
