"If you're looking for an efficient and highly skilled divorce lawyer, I strongly recommend Charles Hardy. I made the mistake of hiring a cheaper attorney initially, which cost me my retirement savings, maxed out my credit cards, and wasted eight years of my life. Despite all that, my previous lawyer only managed to secure less time with my children than a criminal would get, despite my spotless record. Charles Hardy, on the other hand, achieved more in one week than my previous lawyer did in all those years, and at a fraction of the cost. His efficiency, professionalism, and dedication are unmatched. He and his amazing staff provided exceptional support and went above and beyond without charging me extra for additional services. I even tried to pay him more, but he wouldn't accept it. Charles Hardy is highly communicative, easy to reach, and very quick to respond to calls. If you want ethical, no-nonsense results and peace of mind, retain Mr. Hardy. Don't waste your hard-earned savings like I did by opting for a so-called "value" attorney."

"I came to HHZ after a series of bad attorneys, ones that do not return phone calls or never remember the important matter of why you are paying your hard earned money to hire an advocate. That is why I came to HHZ. I needed an advocate, especially after having been a victim of violence and not wanting to be a victim anymore. Five stars for Mr. Hardy. He was outstanding. He took into consideration the amount of money I already spent and recommended another attorney in the firm that was more affordable. He completely understood why I was there. It was empowering. Unfortunately, the other attorney I hired was inexperienced. I never felt she was my advocate until the day before my hearing. While my calls and e-mails were promptly responded to, I was met with disdain to any of my questions I needed clarification on, so much so, her first response was to recommend me to an attorney outside the law firm, even though I was asking about the legal advice I was given during the consultation with Mr. Hardy. I ignored her contemptuousness, continued asking my questions until I understood, and moved forward, placing the trust of my time and investment solely in the firm alone. While I would normally have included a senior attorney, owner, or manager in conversations I felt were unprofessional, I chose not to. I could not afford to start over again. With my experience in my own field, I related her defensive responses to inexperience rather than demonstrating a seasoned professional that is capable of simply having a discussion and clarifying what that client is in need of understanding rather than seeing personal criticism over what was not understood. This was a very difficult time for me and my family. Not having an advocate that you are paying to represent your interests is distressing. I continued to see this issue to the end, and an end it did have on behalf of my family. The attorney may have been inexperienced but was a hard worker in the end. The end result is not enough for me to vindicate a better review. Mr. Hardy gave me hope. The female attorney I hired ripped that to shreds until the last minute and returned to her previous mannerisms thereafter. I highly recommend that if directed to another attorney, set up another initial consultation to ensure your needs and protections are understood. I would return to this firm, if necessary, but with a seasoned attorney."

"I hired Dave Emory of this firm. They are not to be trusted at any level. They charged me a large amount of money and then did nothing for me. Dave Emory did no due diligence ( none zilch). It is the single worst mistake of my life when I hired HH and Zuflacht. Best thing to do is stay away from this firm. There are plenty of "honest" lawyers in San Antonio. Less than 0 STARS."
