"Some years ago I retained this incredible attorney after I was arrested and was looking at a possible life time in prison. I won't go into too much detail in order to preserve my anonymity. I asked around for the "heaviest" attorney in Houston at this time, including other attorneys I had used in the...past, and unanimously everyone said to call Mr. Dick DeGuerin. In short, only because of his fearsome courtroom prowess and renowned reputation for wins did the DA and Judge agree to a plea bargain we were all extremely pleased with. I will not use names, but BOTH the DA and Judge had reps for being extremely heavy handed with their sentencing. To the man that is more than an attorney, who's a legend and also a bit of magician, a thousand thanks for giving me a life to return to! I regret that I only happened upon this site today and wasn't able to publicize my appreciation long ago..."
