"Peck Peterson is well deserving of its high rank as a top employment law legal firm. Throughout the matter, Lisa Peck was persistent and helped keep me on point to focus on only the most important details to not get sidetracked. When it came time for depositions and negotiations with the opposing p...arty, Lisa was very professional, yet a fierce negotiator and knew exactly the right questions to ask. Although we ended up settling out of court two years later, I was very pleased with the results and highly recommend the firm."

"I retained Elizabeth (Lisa) Peck in early 2007. Shortly after my employer advised that I (a disabled veteran) would be displaced (out of state) by a returning USERRA veteran. The issue Lisa worked for the past 7+ years, was somewhat of a stand alone case, USERRA Law and ADA Law. Lisa was very knowl...edgable and quickly got up to speed with my case. When issues arose, she contacted me via phone or email and always kept me up to speed. Lisa was very trustworthy, always asked for the go ahead when work was about to be completed and i felt as thought everything was presented to me up front. She understood my situation and we made decisions together with my best interests in mind. Lisa is truly a diligent, honest and knowledgable attorney. Highly recommended!!"

"Lisa Peck is more than an attorney, she became a fierce ally in my wrongful termination case that lasted 4+ years before ending in a 14 day trial that a jury found in my favor and awarded a substantial monetary award. She and my other attorney worked tirelessly to present my complex case to the court...and were actually complimented numerous times from the judge on how professionally and clearly the facts were presented, again in a very complex case. She was on point with everything trail/related and all aspects of this case. She very clearly is extremely expirienced in trials as well as the prep for them. On top of that she was able to sincerely address my sometimes extreme emotions that this case pulled out of me and soothed me with repeated aknowledgment of the injustice I had suffered, bringing me back to a focused determined point. In other words when she said she understood and told me we would get the TRUTH out, I believed her. In summation there are no other attorneys I would reccomend for civil rights and or employment law besides Lisa and my other great attorney Mr. Devin. They are sincere and will make your fight their fight. sincerely J.Mathews"

"I had a frustrating experience with Peck Law in Santa Cruz. My initial interaction was with a receptionist who was incredibly rude, barely communicative, and dismissive after I informed them of completing a form online. The process that followed was tediously slow, involving multiple forms which seemed only to prolong the vetting process without any real engagement. It took over two weeks to receive a final notice declining representation, during which I felt my time was thoroughly wasted. Not only was their procedure inefficient, but it also lacked the basic courtesy you'd expect from a professional law firm."

•"Shahla Aneesah Khan #305466 was my public defender in 2022. After a few months she stopped responding to my emails, calls, and messages. It wasn't until my next court date that I was informed by a colleague of at the public defenders office that she had left the firm. Shahla did not inform me that the public defenders office had moved at that time, the phone numbers had changed, or that her email had changed. I spent several weeks attempting to contact her with no success. My case is still pending in the system, three years later. I am being made to suffer for her negligence. Shahla may have moved on, but I certainly haven't."

•"I called on December 2 and explained my time sensitive need for representation and was told to fill out a form on their website. I did that and received an email a week later that my form was received. After a few weeks after I had heard nothing I called. I talked to Carson and he explained they were busy and it would probably be weeks before they could determine if they would represent me. A month later on January 16 I was asked to fill out a chronology of the events. I submitted it. After 3 months I called to inquire on the status. After the call I received an email that stated that they would not represent me and this: "As we do not represent you, we are unable to give you advice as to which limitations period applies. However, you should not delay in pursuing any claims you believe that you have as there are time limits within which you are allowed to assert claims under the law." I should not delay, that's rich. I don't know what the problem was as I never got to discuss anything with even a paralegal. My guess is that they are busy and my case was too small to be a priority. If it's true that they are busy it means they get steady work, so some of their clients must be satisfied but keep all your options open as Peck Law will probably not be able to help you unless you have a case with a possibility of a large judgement. Then you probably have better options from another firm that will be responsive."
