"My son was involved in case dealing with charges of resisting arrest and other matters both felony and misdemeanor. He had already had 2 strikes. Each time we went to court it was clear that it was not going to get better and that we needed not only professional input but input from someone who actually gave a damn. the public defenders assigned were of no assistance, I don't even think they looked at my sons case; he was basically a number and a nobody. Until Mr. Fakhimi took on the case I feared looking at my son being sent away for an extremely long time up to 16 years. Mr Fakhimi and his generous, smart, intelligent and caring team went above and beyond in too many ways for my son. He got one year and the numerous counts downsized to one. If it had not been for Fakhimi and Associates, and them working with the DA who was generous in his application of the law, I don't know what we would have done and I know that my sons children would have been teenagers by the time he got out if it was up to previous public defenders assigned.
