"My wife hired MMZ Law after the death of her father as she needed to become a conservator for her mother, who was very old and unable to look after herself. The case was complicated by the fact that my wife and I lived in England and her mother was in California. To make matters worse, the Covid pandemic was at its height. Marivel and her team helped with every aspect of the affair, from the legal matters to my wife's mother's medical insurance. When my wife suddenly passed away last year, it was left to me to succeed her as conservator. Again, MMZ did an excellent job, getting the court filings done in a timely manner so that I could ensure my mother-in-law was well looked after. "Marivel and her staff and I have been through a long experience. That's how the law works, of course. However, there were some problems in Marivel's office (a staff person who no longer works there; her other staff are cool and polite and work well) when she first took my case. After I brought it up, Marivel sincerely apologized and fixed her office and went ahead finishing my case. Marivel helped me fix a situation in which I administered a trust by myself (the trust had been written by a paralegal and he didn't give my family the whole story), which had led to an unpleasant outcome. Marivel amazingly helped me fix the situation. Marivel did something that other lawyers thought wasn't possible. That's really cool. What she did enabled me to make back all they money that I had spent in retaining her. I got my money's worth. Since Marivel saved my situation, I've hired her to write my own trust/will, which will be a lot easier than what she's already done."
