"On July of 2020, I was involved in a car accident. I was riding my bicycle and the driver failed to stop at his red light. The accident, to this day, causes me anxiety. While I am not a doctor, I feel the ptsd-is absolutely still present and it will be some time before that goes away. The broken skin, bruising all over my body, knee and shoulder damage, the pain and the nightmares were horrible! I saw myself getting hit by this vehicle over and over and I would wake up shaken and terrified! Every day, for almost two years, my knees were swollen by the end of the day. The driver's insurance was insensitive from the get-go. The woman actually stated, "he wasn't gong that fast..." She said, is it fair to say you will not need any medical care? Really?????? They changed adjusters numerous times-part of the game I suppose. All they wanted, was to wrap it up and pay as little as possible. Each conversation ended with how about we take care of this today. One day, they sent me a proposal and honestly, it was so offensive, that I walked away from my desk, walked around the block and called Rich and his team. Rich and his team could not have been more caring. They are compassionate and sincerely interested in my well being. From the initial zoom, (pandemic times), to present, Rich and his office have been absolutely kind and kept me abreast of what was going on at all times.
